Snippets provides complete control over how frequently an Agent in the Dashboard updates. Control is provided to both the Agent developer and the end-user.

Update schedules
The developer sets an initial default value for the update schedule in the Agent properties file. The end-user simply right-clicks an Agent to modify this setting. If necessary, the developer can lock the update schedule so that it cannot be modified.

Show schedules
The Agent developer and end-user can also control the Agent's Show Schedule, the times during the week when it is visible in the user's Dashboard. For example, it may be desirable to show different Agents in the morning than in the afternoon.

To test this feature yourself, download and install the Snippets Demo Edition. Right-click any Agent, select Customize..., and click the small triangles to change the Update and Show Schedules for that Agent.
